二十年前,黃師傅喺太子花墟附近開咗一間細細嘅花藝工作坊。嗰陣時冇華麗嘅舖面,只有一對手、一把剪刀、一份對花嘅執著。佢堅持每日清晨親自去花市揀花,一朵一朵咁揀——睇顏色、摸花瓣、聞香氣。

黃師傅話:「送花唔係送產品,係送一份心意。每一張咭片上面嗰啲廣東話祝福,係我親手寫嘅——『身體健康』、『百年好合』、『生意興隆』——呢啲說話,係香港人最真摯嘅祝福。」

二十年來,黃師傅每日清晨五點半準時出現喺花墟,風雨不改。佢對花材嘅要求近乎苛刻——花瓣要完整無瑕、色澤要均勻、枝葉要挺拔。佢話:「一朵花嘅生命好短暫,但係送出去嘅心意可以長存。所以我哋做嘅每一束花,都要對得住收花嗰個人嘅笑容。」

From his modest workshop tucked behind Prince Edward’s Flower Market, Master James Wong has spent over two decades perfecting the art of floristry. Every morning at 5:30am, he walks the market aisles, hand-selecting each stem with the precision of a craftsman who still believes that flowers are meant to carry emotions, not just fill vases. His signature touch — a handwritten Cantonese blessing on every card — has become the hallmark that sets James Wong Florist apart in Hong Kong’s bustling floral landscape.

Master Wong’s philosophy is deceptively simple: “A bouquet is not a product. It is a messenger.” Whether for a wedding, a birthday, a quiet apology, or a grand celebration, every arrangement that leaves his workshop carries the quiet dignity of two decades of devotion to craft.

二十年花藝旅程 · Two Decades of Floristry

2005 — The Beginning

Master Wong opened a small workshop near Prince Edward’s Flower Market, serving local neighbours with hand-tied bouquets and handwritten cards.

2010 — Growing Reputation

Word spread across Kowloon. Master Wong’s bouquets became a favourite for weddings, corporate events, and hotel lobbies.

2018 — Going Digital

jameswongflorist.com launched, bringing Master Wong’s craft to customers across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories.

Today — Still Handcrafted

Same hands, same scissors, same 5:30am flower market visits. Every bouquet still tied with twine. Every card still handwritten.
